Whether it’s training as a certified AI trainer, a seven-step program for self-marketing, business growth, digital marketing or even qualification as a nature meditation teacher, solo self-employed people can receive up to \u20ac4,500 for training and qualifications through the \u2018KOMPASS \u2013 Compact Support for Solo Self-Employed People\u2019 program. <\/p>\n

Eligible applicants are solo self-employed people who have operated in the market for at least two years, employ no more than one full-time equivalent employee and run their self-employment as their main occupation in Germany. Training must last at least 20 hours to be eligible. Funding is available once within a twelve-month period, and the training must be completed within six months. The program runs until the end of February 2028.<\/p>\n

What can be funded depends on the individual needs of the solo self-employed person. It may include business management knowledge, digital skills, methodological knowledge or job-specific professional skills. The content must be relevant to their work and help secure or further develop their livelihood and\/or make their existing business model more resilient.<\/p>\n

Solo self-employed people choose a suitable provider and course with support from a KOMPASS contact point.
How it works:<\/p>\n

  1. Mandatory, free initial consultation (in person or online) with a KOMPASS contact point<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Receive the training voucher<\/li>\n
  3. Successfully complete the agreed training and receive a certificate or confirmation of attendance<\/li>\n
  4. Apply and settle the costs with help from the KOMPASS contact point<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
