Change Is Not a Project

Understand transformation – recognize patterns – act effectively

Change is not a project. Transformation cannot be planned like an initiative with a starting point, action list and final report. It follows recurring human, structural and cultural patterns—whether it concerns starting a business, taking on a leadership role or changing an organization.

In this workshop, strategy consultant and process facilitator Heike Bartels will provide guidance on navigating constant change. She will show why transformation often fails, which patterns hinder or support it, and how to shape change effectively—beyond methods and buzzwords.

The workshop is intended for founders, leaders and people who want not only to support change, but to understand and shape it.

Specifically, you will learn:

  • why change processes so often stall,
  • which ways of thinking and acting prevent or accelerate transformation,
  • and what it takes to make change sustainable, effective and lasting.

One thing becomes clear:
Our personal attitude toward change, the role of leadership and the logic of organizations are inseparably connected. Understanding these relationships helps you make more conscious decisions, act with greater clarity and actively shape change—both in your professional context and in day-to-day business.

The workshop combines theoretical insights with practical examples, reflection and interactive exercises. Participants’ experiences and questions are deliberately included and discussed alongside examples from consulting practice.
